The link to “Subversion Windows Installer” is stale. The Subversion community volunteers who formerly maintained Windows installers there no longer do so, because there are now professionally built and tested (and still free!) versions, such as those at CollabNet:

http://www.open.collab.net/downloads/subversion/

Also worth note: the latest CollabNet server downloads include “Subversion Edge,” a web-based admin console, as well as a 1-click installer, and an updater service. This should greatly simplify the server set-up and administration portion of the process. But if you like to do it yourself, you can do that, too.

Ever since the upgrade to TSVN 1.5 there are some small differences.

Here is a link to a few 5 minute videos that show how to use the new SVN (no prior experience required).

Hopefully they help you as well.
