Nimbus has some quirks when it comes to components in Jtables. But on a whole, it is major improvement.

I am using nimbus all the time it is a great theme. Nimbus is not default theme in open solaris only it is the default theme for Java 1.6 Update 10 and default theme for JavaFX applications. But when it is a Java theme it is better than the GTK theme because there is some nice and cool animation effects.
Btw the GTK port of the default KDE 4.x theme called oxygen is available on the net too so the Oxygen is another really good theme.

Hi,

I have to agree and say I think Nimbus is a great look and feel. Would love to get it working on Mandriva and as a fellow NetBeans user would be good for it all to look consistent )

The font/gradient on menu/buttons is looking truly ugly, there is smth wrong with those fonts or the font renderer.
